Journey

I didn't get my act together quickly enough today to continue the series comparing York and Bury St Edmunds. That will have to happen tomorrow now. In the meantime, here is a photo taken somewhere between the two towns as my eldest son and my daughter share ipod music on our journey.

Beautiful kids, Rubes. Have a lovely time, you know they've forecast snow for Bury tonight or tomorrow night?! Let's hope they are wrong!

What were they listening to? Difficult to get something they both like? We just have Katy Perry on 24/7. Pickle sings along 'I kissed a girl...', oh heavens!!

Hey Ruby, you must have had your son at a very young age, as you only look about 25 & he looks about 17.

Thanks Snapper.

Hi Lunarossa, lol, the one week beard has in fact taken about a year to cultivate!! It does suit him though.

Jane - they've forecast snow for BSE?? OMG! I thought it was feeling a bit chilly - even for a hard northerner like me ;-)

Picklesmum, I'm not sure, I think it was some sort of rap. I was only allowed to listen at one point when Erik wanted to know if the background music from one of the tracks was originally from something "old". And indeed it was, it was that tune that used to play in the Hoffmeister bear ads "It's like a jungle sometime, it makes me wonder how I keep from goin' under ..." but I'm not sure if you'll rembember it, I have a few years on you!!

Gails Man, I love you, lol!! I was 21, nearly 22 when Erik was born. He's now 20 and I'm 42. I was hardly going to choose a profile photo where I look my age though ;-)
