More snow

Just when the last lot of snow had just about cleared, it's done it again! My daughter gave a huge sigh when she saw it, and told me; "School is freezing when it snows and some of the stricter teachers won't let us keep our coats on in the class room." Thermal vest for her today then :-D

Ah, the joys of winter! Still, at least it gives us a good subject for our photos!

tout disparait sous la neige et tout devient mystérieux.

everything disappears under the snow and everything becomes mysterious.

I love the effect of light on the snow but I'm fed up with snow by now. My son's schoolbus did not turn up again today so I had to drive him to school myself. As the roads are pretty clear (apart in the close where I live), I don't understand why the bus does not turn up! Have a warm day. Ciao. A.

Nice shot!
It's look like a postal card or a cinema scene!

Thats the scene outside my window now! 10pm and snowing hard, and the wind is blowing a gale!

yusringadi - we just knock the snow off the cars, and sometimes if the engine is cold it needs to be run for a while before it starts. There is also a marvellous product called anti-freeze to remove ice from the windscreen and from the door locks if they are frozen.

Thanks as always all for your comments :-)

I cannot imagine the flack I would get if I told a student that she could not keep her jacket on if it is cold in class. I especially would not understand doing that if I keep my coat on because I, too, am cold. What's the educational purpose of making kids cold? Do they learn better when they're uncomfortable?
