Colour
January can be such a grey, bleak month, without much sunlight at all. The berries on this otherwise bare tree provide a welcome splash of colour in Rowntree Park.
You're right, Ruby, January is such a depressing and grey month. Thank God for this kind of berries ..I've got some red ones in my garden but unfortunately they're not edible. Ciao. A.

I think I've recently discovered that I take colour quite for granted. I suspect it's the huge amounts of UV light we have.
I don't wish for the cold, but just occasionally would love to be as subtle!

Are you sure they are berries and not fruit pastilles?
avec un leger retard, je te souhaite une Happy New Year
Good food for the birds, as there's no worms around at the moment. A welcome find on these dark days.
Grumps, if there was a fruit pastils tree in the park, I'd already have eaten them all!!
